ROBOTS AND ANDROIDS: Servo Skull (Repairbot)

This is my first round of conversion using only the Monster Manual as a reference.  I wouldn’t be converting en mass until Lords of Rust when I finally had all three fifth edition books.  I also used a slightly different backstory so this is the related flavour text.

As part of a cache from an ancient human colony Lord-captain Kinker Drub discovered the find of a century – a working robot manfactorim from the Dark Age of Technology.  Though Drub knows the location of the manufactorim he is long dead and the remaining robots on the Divinity are irreplaceable and also heretical.   Fortunately he had the foresight to include repair droids as part of the Divinity’s cohort of robots so there is a limited ability for repair and salvage.  But time – and the Mind Flayer Space Machine – has not been kind to these machines.  And without the guiding light of the Machine Spirit they will attack humans, sometimes, and any “xenos” race – like elves, dwarves etc. on sight.

DESCRIPTION
Though these bots are embedded in human skulls though in reality they are spider like machine that is an autonomous repair robot the size of a bowling ball that performs repair and maintenance on the ship.  There are hundreds of such bots on the Divinity and are the main reason the ship has not completely fallen apart.  They can be seen scuttling (or flying) in and out of specifically built access ports throughout the ship and pose no threat to the party.  They will defend themselves however if attacked.

Since these particular bots are actually produced by a Dark Age of Technology manufactorium and are much more advanced than the standard servo-skull found through out the Imperium of Man.  Drubb was no fool and disguised his advanced machinery whenever he could.  This is probably his finest example of that particular deception.
