THE GODMIND

This is the matrix like world of UNITY.  She will have to be defeated here before true victory is gained.  Here are the general effects of this alternate/demi-plane.

THE GODMIND

EFFECTS

Depending on the victory level of the characters the following affects are permanently active and can not be dispelled within the Godmind and constantly affect the UNITY and her allies.

Freedom of Movement. Unaffected by terrain, spells and other affects that impede movement including the paralysed and restrained state. Target can also spend 5 feet of movement to automatically escape from nonmagical restraints.

Unhallowed. This acts like the Hallow spell with the energy vulnerability – radiant affect on all creatures hostile to UNITY. DC 29 CHA.

UNITY’S DIGITAL GUARD
For the non-unique creatures in this zone I used the standard MM entries with little to no modification.  I was looking forward to using these as a DM as you don’t usually get to use angelic creatures as enemies against a mostly good aligned party.  Alignment of all creatures in the Godmind is Lawful Evil.

DIGITAL PLANETAR
As Planetar with the additional special ability:
Cloak of Vengeance (until bloodied). Attacks against UNITY’s Digital Planetar have disadvantage until it is bloodied. While cloak of vengeance is in effect, a creature that makes a successful melee attack against the digital planetar takes 5 (2d8) fire damage and 5 (2d8) cold damage.

MOVANIC DEVA
As Deva, no change.

This angel is all sharp lines and angles, muscular but lean, with large wings and a mighty flaming greatsword.

MONADIC DEVA.
As Deva from the MM with maximised hit-points and an additional special ability:

Solid Blow. If a monadic deva strikes an opponent twice in 1 round with its mace, that creature takes an extra 14 (1d8+10) points of radiant damage.

This angelic being has smooth skin, a muscular body, and large golden wings, and wields a large mace.

I did end up fully converting the Digital Deva though:

DIGITAL DEVA
Medium celestial, lawful evil

Armour Class 18 (natural armour)
Hit Points 280 (16d8 + 64)
Speed 30 ft., fly 90ft.

STR 18 (+4)        DEX 18 (+4)       CON 18 (+4)
INT 17 (+3)        WIS 20 (+5)        CHA 20 (+5)

Saving Throws Wis +9, Cha +9
Skills Insight +7, Perception +9
Damage Resistances radiant; bludgeoning, piercing, and slashing fro m non-magical weapons

Condition Immunities charmed, exhaustion, frightened
Senses darkvision 120 ft., passive Perception 19
Languages all, telepathy 120 ft.
Challenge 14 (11,500 XP)

Angelic Weapons. The deva’s weapon attacks are magical. When the deva hit s with any weapon, the weapon deals an extra 4d8 radiant damage (included in the attack).

Innate Spellcasting. The deva’s spellcasting ability is Charisma (spell save DC 18). The deva can innately cast the following spells, requiring only verbal components:

At will: detect evil and good
1/day each: commune, raise dead

Magic Resistance. The deva has advantage on saving throws against spells and other magical effects.

ACTIONS
Multiattack. The deva makes three melee attacks.

Warhammer. Melee Weapon Attack: +8 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target.
Hit: 9 (1d10 + 4) bludgeoning damage plus 18 (4d8) radiant damage. If a target is hit twice they must make a DC 18 Constitution save or be stunned for 1 minute.

Healing Touch (3/Day). The deva touches another creature. The target magically regains 20 (4d8 + 2) hit points and is freed from any curse, disease, poison, blind ness, or deafness.

Change Shape. The deva magically polymorphs into a humanoid or beast that has a challenge rating equal to or less than its own, or back into its true form. It reverts to its true form if it dies. Any equipment it is wearing or carrying is absorbed or borne by the new form (the deva’s choice). In a new form, the deva retains its game statistics and ability to speak, but its AC, movement modes, Strength, Dexterity, and special senses are re placed by those of the new form, and it gain s any statistics and capabilities (except class features, legendary actions, and lair actions) that the new form has but that it lacks

REACTIONS
Fateful Transposition (1/day). As a reaction when an enemy attacks the digital deva the target swaps positions with the digital deva. The triggering enemy’s attack deals half damage to the fallen star, and the target takes damage equal to half the attack’s damage.

DESCRIPTION
This tall, human-like creature has long, feathery wings and a gentle inner radiance that makes it difficult to look directly at.
