Verse translation HAROLD STEWART ... if u like this stuff and style of translation .. please buy Mr Stewarts book "Net Of Fireflies" ... all the Haiku comes from this book .. and contains hundreds of haiku with some Haigu (Haiku art)... i think his translation technique is brilliant and very creative ... it takes a skilled scholar and linguist to translate verse from one language to another language -especially a language not in the same "language group" like Japanese and English- and retain the original intent, fluidity and inspiration.
