"Le secret d'ennuyer est celiu de tout
dire."
--Voltaire
The following is a short collection of my favourite Haiku poems. Haiku is Japanese verse. It is generally structured into three lines of 5, 7 and 5 syllables length respectively. This traditional form is not used in these translations however, because I feel that detracts from the original intent of the (or "picture") Haiku. A title has also been added to put the reader into the scene or to give a hint at the hidden meaning of a haiku.
