For my most recent campaign – a mash-up of the various Temple of Elemental Evil (ToEE) adventures through D&D’s history and Princes of the Apocolypse (PoA) – I started using World Anvil so that I could run these directly from a laptop (not just monsters but whole modules). Here is a list of those monsters; having rollable stat blocks is really beneficial, I found:
- Marlos Urnryle. Greater Temple/Fane of the Eye, ToEE/POA.
- Grandmaster of Black Earth. PoA, Earth Temple Monastery.
- Gar Shatterkeel. Water Node, along with Olhydra and Cauldronbubble as the final campaign boss for ToEE/PoA.
- Cauldronbubble. Water Temple, Water Node, POA. Inspired by Everquest monster of the same name. Shatterkeel’s mount/animal companion.
- Cauldronboil. Water Temple, POA. Inspired by Everquest monster of the same name.
- Cannon Belsornig. Water Temple, Water Outpost Rivergaurd Keep**, POA/ToEE.
- Dark Tide Knight. Water Temple, POA.
- Darktide Mermaid. Water Temple, POA. Inspired by Everquest monster of the same name.
- Long Armed Centipede Giant v1, v2 and v3. Earth Temple, Deep Carbon Observatory*, POA/ToEE.
- Cloudcradle Geisha Golem (Origami) Earth Temple, Deep Carbon Observatory*, POA/ToEE.
- Cloudcradle Geisha Golem (Silk) Earth Temple, Deep Carbon Observatory, POA/ToEE.
- Gloomium Hulk. Earth Temple Monastery. I associated radiation with Earth.
- Typhon Nightmare. Lives in my mega-dungeon, which is the moon – Luna Castellum. Based on the monster of the same name from the Prey game.
- Disassembler. Lives in my mega-dungeon, which is the moon – Luna Castellum. Converted from Numenra campaign setting. I like monsters that destroy PCs equipment; ala oozes and rust monsters.
- Typhon Mimic. Lives in my mega-dungeon, which is the moon – Luna Castellum. Based on the monster of the same name from the Prey game.
- Greater Typhon Mimic. Lives in my mega-dungeon, which is the moon – Luna Castellum. Based on the monster of the same name from the Prey game.
- Typhon Telepath. Lives in my mega-dungeon, which is the moon – Luna Castellum. Based on the monster of the same name from the Prey game. My worlds mind flayer.
- King Mong. Lives in my mega-dungeon, which is the moon – Luna Castellum. Based on the monster of the same name from the Borderlands game.
