Combat Advantage. The smoke archon deals an extra 6 (2d6) necrotic damage against any target it has combat advantage against.
Smoke Form. The smoke archon can enter a hostile creature’s space and stop there. It can move through a space as narrow as 1 inch wide without squeezing.
Smoke Glide. The smoke archon does not provoke attacks of opportunity.
Smokey Movement. The smoke archon can seep through to any space that is not airtight. They can also disperse themselves to the point where it can effectively be invisible appearing no more as a smokey room. It can move through other creatures and objects as if they were difficult terrain. On its first turn of combat, the smoke archon has combat advantage unless the target is aware of its presence.
Smoke Sword. Melee Weapon Attack: +8 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target.
Hit: 14 (2d8 + 5) necrotic damage and the target is weakened dealing half damage until successful DC 13 Constitution save.
Smoke Claws (Recharge 4-6). Each breathing creature in the elemental’s space must make a DC 13 Constitution saving throw. On a failure, a target takes 15 (3d8 + 2) piercing damage as the semi-vaporous smoke forms into claws within their lungs and begins to rend them. They also spend the turn coughing and choking. A successful save ends the effect.
Death Strike. When the smoke archon is reduced to 0 hit points it can move up to 20 feet and make a smoke sword attack that deals an additional 8 (2d8) necrotic damage.
Xoud is a master of smoke and this creature is one of his creations. Taking a standard smoke elemental and creating an archon similar to the other elemental archons created by the Primordials this creature is more dangerous than a normal smoke para-elemental and is entirely loyal to Xoud.
