Drone. The Fearful Drone produces a horrid droning sound. Any other creature that starts its turn within 30 feet of the Fearful Drone must succeed on a DC 12 Intelligence saving. On a success, the target falls unconscious for 10 minutes. A creature that can’t hear the drone is immune to this effect. The effect on the creature ends if it takes damage. If a creature’s saving throw is successful the target instead takes 4d6 INT damage. The target becomes comatose at 0 INT until their ability damage is healed, on a critical fail the target’s brain explodes killing them.
Fear Aura. Any creature seeing the Fearful Drone must make a DC 12 Wisdom saving throw or run away in fear for 1 minute. The creature may repeat the saving throw if it can not see the Fearful Drone. The target becomes immune to the fear aura once it successfully makes a saving throw.

Magic Resistance. The Fearful Drone has advantage on saving throws against spells and other magical effects.

Spider Climb. The Fearful Drone can climb difficult surfaces, including upside down on ceilings, without needing to make an ability check.

ACTIONS

Proboscis. Melee Weapon Attack: +5 to hit, reach 5 ft., one creature. Hit: 16 (4d6 + 2) piercing damage plus 24 (7d6) necrotic damage, and the target’s hit point maximum is reduced by an amount equal to the necrotic damage taken. If this effect reduces a creature’s hit point maximum to 0, the creature dies. This reduction to a creature’s hit point maximum lasts until the creature finishes a long rest or until it is affected by a spell-like greater restoration.
