First of The Choking Tower conversions.  I ended up creating a more elemental themed version – omnimetal aurumvorax.

Small beast, unaligned

Armour Class 16
Hit Points 192 (38d6 +76)
Speed 40’

STR 18 (+4)     DEX 14 (+2)      CON 15 (+2)
INT 3 (-4)         WIS 12 (+1)       CHA 8 (-1)

Skills Perception +5, Stealth +8
Senses passive Perception 15
Challenge 9 (5,000 XP)

Grappler. The aurmovorax has advantage on attack rolls against any creature grappled by it.

Keen Smell. The aurumvorax has advantage on Wisdom (Perception) checks that rely on smell.

Lockjaw. If the aurmovorax hits with a bite attack it automatically grapples the target (DC 16 to escape). Ability checks made to escape this grapple have disadvantage. It also gains the rake attack option.

Metal Eater. An Auromvorax can bypass an object or constructs damage resistance and immunities so long as they are made of metal.

Pounce. If the aurumvorax moves at least 20 feet straight toward a creature and then hits it with a claw attack on the same turn, that target must succeed on a DC 16 Strength saving throw or be knocked prone. If the target is prone, the tiger can make one bite attack against it as a bonus action.

Bite. Melee Weapon Attack: +7 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target.
Hit: 10 (1d10 + 5) piercing damage.

Claw. Melee Weapon Attack: +7 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target.
Hit: 12 (2d6 + 5) slashing damage.

Rake. As long as the auromvox is attached to a target via lockjaw it can attack the target making 4 claw attacks and 1 bite attack per attack action. It has advantage on these attacks.

Powerful muscles ripple beneath the golden fur of this small yet fearsome eight-legged beast.
